Subscriptions & Billing

How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your device's app store, not inside Prep. On iPhone, go to Settings > your name > Subscriptions > Prep. On Android, open the Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > Prep. You can cancel or change your plan at any time from there.

How does billing work?
Prep subscriptions are billed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

How do I change my dietary preferences?
Dietary restrictions and food allergies are set during onboarding when you first create your account. To update them, contact us at support@healthpoints.io and we'll help you make changes.

Why don't prices match my local store exactly?
Prep uses location-based estimates from national averages. You can correct any price by tapping it in the grocery list — a modal will let you enter the real price you see on the shelf. Your corrections are saved and help improve pricing for everyone.

Account

How do I delete my account?
Open the Profile tab, then scroll to the Account section and tap Delete Account. You'll be asked to confirm. This action is permanent and will remove all your data including meal history, images, and preferences.

Can I request data deletion without deleting my account?
Yes. If you'd like us to delete specific data (such as meal history, images, or preferences) while keeping your account active, email us at support@healthpoints.io with the details of what you'd like removed. We'll process your request within 30 days.

I'm having trouble signing in.
Make sure you're using the same sign-in method you used when creating your account — Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, or use an email sign-in link. These options are available on both iPhone and Android. If you continue to have issues, contact us at support@healthpoints.io.
